6 New Year’s Resolutions For Riders

2020 wasn’t what we had in mind to say the least. But with each new year comes new resolutions and 2021 should be no different. We are all ready for a fresh start which includes A LOT of riding (surprise, surprise). Check out our list of resolutions and get ready to write your own.

Make More Time for Riding - Need a little wind therapy? Count us in. It’s no secret we all love to ride, and we think you should commit to riding more than ever this year. Set weekly or monthly riding goals to ensure you’re riding just as much as you’d like.

Go on a Weekend Trip - This one’s for all the weekend warriors out there. Weekend trips bring anticipation, excitement, and overall thrill - all things we want more of in 2021. Create a bucket list dedicated to the weekend trips you want to go on and don’t back out.

Attend a Motorcycle Rally or Show - Will shows and rallies return in full-force in 2021? Who knows! But, we want to be ready when they do. Rallies and shows are great places to meet up with your buddies, see the latest and greatest motorcycles, swag, and so much more. If you’ve never been to one before, you’re missing out - plain and simple. And if shows aren’t making a comeback this upcoming year, make a resolution to at least plan for your next trip so you’ll be ready when they do.

Fine Tune Your Skills - No one knows everything. If you want to learn something new this year, why not learn even more about motorcycles? Let’s be honest, the obsession runs deep. Take a motorcycle safety course, riding class, or maintenance crash course to sharpen your skills and you’ll be looking like a pro on the road in no time.

Pass Along the Tradition - Put any selfish ways aside this year. Afterall, riding shouldn’t be just for you. Who in your life do you know that might be interested in swinging their leg over a saddle? Tell them to hop on the back of your bike, nag them to get their license, and carry on the riding tradition.

Give Your Bike Some Attention - In 2021, make sure your bike is running just the way you like it. Take the extra time for preventive maintenance, make sure you're storing it properly, and to take your bike in to a mechanic as needed. Bottomline: don’t neglect your bike.
