Brammo's Enertia Electric Motorcycle To Be Sold By Best Buy

Do you want a motorcycle to go with that flat-screen TV?

According to several reports, electronics retailer Best Buy will be offering Brammo’s Enertia Electric Motorcycle in five West Coast stores this May.

Best Buy will also offer service for the Enertia, replacing parts ranging from brakes, tires, and other electrical components.

Selling motorcycles along with televisions and appliances may seem strange, but Brammo CEO Craig Bramscher has described the Enertia as being closer to consumer electronics than transportation.

If the test offering goes well, Brammo may expand selling bikes to Best Buy’s chain of 1,200 U.S. stores and overseas.

Interesting idea, although I don't think that I would go to Best Buy to shop for a motorcycle.
