Vintage British Bike Could Become The World's Most Expensive Motorcycle

While the stock market is having issues, the price of one particular vintage motorcycle is about to hit a new high.

This Vincent Black Lightning motorcycle is a one of a kind, and expected to fetch a one of kind price of $400,000 to $600,000 on the auction block, setting a new record for the most expensive motorcycle ever.

According to, the British-made Vincent Black Lightning motorbike was designed to to set a different record: a world speed record in 1950. The bike didn't break the record, but its pristine condition has made it a highly prized item for collectors with deep pockets.

The current record price for a motorcycle: $520,00 for a 1915 Cyclone.
