ESPN.com features details on Robbie Maddison, the 26 year-old motocross rider who broke the world motorcycle jumping record Monday night at Rio All-Suite Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas.
The record breaking jump was 322 feet and 7 1/2 inches.
Maddison dedicated the jump to the memory of Evel Knievel, the legendary motorcycle daredevil who died last November.
Although Maddison and Knievel never met, Maddison did make the trip to Butte, Montana to attend Knievel's funeral and pay his respects to the man he credits for inspiring him.
ESPN also features video of the record breaking jump.
