Oregon declares Motorcycle Awareness Month


Salem-News.com reports that Governor of Oregon has declared May as Motorcycle Awareness Month.

Oregon is joining with law enforcement to raise awareness of motorcycle riders who share the road with other drivers.

Oregon has reduced motorcycle fatalities by over fifty percent through driver awareness programs and efforts by motorcycle rider organizations.

I believe that every county or city who has a large number of motorcyclists need these programs to let them be aware of the importance of safety driving and observance of traffic rules. :)

This decleration by Oregon must be some news for the motorbike riders. But for those interested in interesting history research paper topics, like myself, it isn't something to be excited about. Anyways, been nice getting to know about it!
