The average motorcycle rider is over 40

According to a story on RoadKing.com, the average motorcycle rider is getting older, with 41 as the median age of a rider.

Not content to slow down in their older years, many boomers are finding the fountain of youth is found on the back of a motorcycle.

Back in 1980, more than half of motorcycle riders were 24 or younger. That has now dropped to 4%.
