Indian Motorcycles Set To Make Debut In California

The Los Angeles Times reports on Indian Motorcycle’s new dealerships in California and the regulations the motorcycle manufacturer had to meet to sell bikes there.

According to the Los Angeles times, the 108-year-old motorcycle brand has announced two of five planned California dealerships.

It took time for Indian to get these dealerships rolling, facing tough state emission requirements a search for suitable dealers.

The story also reports that California accounts for 10% of all U.S. motorcycle sales and has stricter emissions standards than any state in the country.
