AMA To Celebrate 85 Years With Parade Of Vintage Motorcycles

If you have a classic motorcycle, the AMA wants you to join in a special parade to celebrate the AMA's 85th Anniversary.

The AMA Motorcycle Museum home page reports that the AMA is celebrating its 85th Anniversary with a parade of Vintage motorcycles at the 2009 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, scheduled for July 24-26 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.

According to the AMA, the parade is made up primarily of street machines, though off-road and competition machines are also welcome. It is expected the parade will travel at approximately 25 miles per hour once around the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Saturday, July 25, during the lunch hour. All machines must be in good running condition, safe and roadworthy.

More details are featured on the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum Homepage.
